These are Laurelle Antique Jewellery, Antique Jewellery Online, Antique Rings Online and Suffragette Jewellery Online. A family-run business, the AJG team specialise in Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco pieces.
Antique Jewelelry group asked us to create social clips and website banners for two of their companies: Laurelle and Antique Jewellery Online. These clips were to be posted on their respective instagram pages over the course of 12 months, while the website banners would be used to draw in potential customers. The campaign would focus on building a lifestyle around the Laurelle brand and sister brand, Antique Jewellery Online. These heritage jewellery brands specialise in distinctive jewellery, spanning across a mix of eras.
01 // PRE-PRODUCTION
Having worked with the Antique Jewellery Group previously in 2020, we were already familiar with their brand and target market. For this project, they wanted us to create short clips to be used across their social platforms. We created a series of micro-stories to allow us to create 24 narrative-based social clips, to work across two campaigns. One was a Christmas campaign and the other a Valentines Day campaign.
With the two campaigns being pushed out across two very different festive periods, elements such as costume and set design came into play. Regardless of the season, the costume and locations were chosen to fit the personality and branding of the Antique Jewellery Group, portraying a contemporary yet elegant aesthetic and feel. The lead actress was cast across both campaigns and was brought forward from our previous project with the AJG, acting as a face for the brand. We put together a storyboard and shooting script which allowed us to ensure we captured every detail needed.
• Directed • Produced • Shot on Red
The campaign was shot in September of 2021, on location in Kendal, UK. The videos were shot vertically at 48 fps, on one of our RED Digital Cinema Cameras, which allowed us to capture details with brilliant clarity and also optimise the clips for social media platforms.
• Editing • Voiceover Casting & Recording • Sound Mix & Master • Visual FX • Colour Grade • Music Licensing • Subtitling • Amendments
In post-production, the clips were assembled, colour graded, and polished to create a high-quality, cinematic finish. The post-production part of the process also involved sound mixing, Visual FX, and more.
We delivered the social clips in a vertical format, delivering longer 30-second versions and cut-down 15-second versions of the clips. Alongside the videos, we also delivered a package of 38 photographs to be used a promotional material and social content. These were shot and edited by our in-house team.
