Filming the Future: Inside Our Campaign for Almanak

When Almanak approached us, they were preparing for one of the most complex brand launches we had encountered. Not because of budget. Not because of logistics. But because of what they were asking the world to understand.

Almanak is an AI-powered DeFi platform — a system that puts autonomous trading agents in the hands of everyday investors, giving them access to the kind of institutional-grade strategies previously reserved for hedge funds and quantitative trading desks. It is genuinely groundbreaking technology. And that is exactly what made it difficult to communicate.

The Brief

The challenge had three layers. First, raise brand awareness in a DeFi market that is noisy, sceptical, and saturated with projects making promises they cannot keep. Second, make the product itself legible — what does it actually do, and why does it matter? Third, support an active live raise, where investor confidence directly translated to capital.

Three goals. Two distinct audiences. One campaign.

We needed to create something that worked for a crypto-native investor who understood on-chain infrastructure — and simultaneously for a retail user who just wanted to know if their money was safe. That is a tightrope, and getting the tone wrong in either direction would have killed the campaign.

Our Approach

We came into pre-production with a clear creative position: do not try to explain the technology — make people feel the possibility of it. The name said everything. An agentic future. A world where intelligent systems work on your behalf, quietly and relentlessly, in markets that never sleep.

The film had to be cinematic, credible, and restrained. No gimmicks. No hyperbole. Just a clean, forward-facing vision of what finance could look like when AI does the heavy lifting.

We developed the concept, scripted the narrative arc, and built a visual language that felt native to the DeFi world — precise, digital, and purposeful — without alienating viewers who were encountering the space for the first time.

The Result

The final film served all three campaign objectives. It launched alongside Almanak's live raise and functioned simultaneously as a brand awareness asset, a product explainer for new users, and a confidence signal for serious investors.
