BRIEF

In collaboration with VisitBritain and the Matador Network, the team embarked on an extraordinary endeavor to produce the international campaign titled ‘See Things Differently.' This captivating series would unveil the diverse landscapes and vibrant locations that make the UK a dynamic and thrilling destination.

With travel and tourism experiencing a revival post-Covid, the aim of this campaign was clear—to showcase Britain as a must-visit country overflowing with activities, offering a warm and quintessentially British welcome to visitors from around the world. Our target audience spanned across Europe, North America, and the GCC, all eager to uncover the hidden gems of this remarkable nation.

Our creative focus for this campaign was to immerse viewers in the richness of British culture, highlighting our love of all things tea-related, the exhilaration of surfing, and the energy of our live music scene.

Situated within the UK Government’s GREAT campaign, the 'See Things Differently' campaign allowed us to join hands with VisitBritain in reimagining the essence of British travel and adventure. It was a unique opportunity to weave together the threads of diverse storytelling, infusing every frame with our signature blend of creativity and strategic thinking.

PRE-PRODUCTION

The pre-production phase introduced a significant challenge—meticulously planning the filming process involving drones. Despite possessing an in-house licensed drone pilot, navigating the complexities of capturing aerial shots in busy city spaces required meticulous planning, licenses, and permissions. We successfully flew drones in iconic locations such as London, Brighton, Bristol, Essex, Northampton, Bath, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Yorkshire, and Hensol Castle.

In London, with its control zones and restricted airspaces, we meticulously crafted flight plans, submitted risk assessments, and sought permissions from local councils, private landowners, the Port of London Authority, and Air Traffic Control. Proactive coordination with local authorities ensured a seamless and compliant filming experience.

The production phase spanned two months, during which our dedicated team traversed the length and breadth of the UK. Splitting into two groups, one focused on capturing spellbinding drone footage while the other expertly captured RED footage to illustrate the campaign’s narrative. Every shot was carefully curated to convey the UK's beauty, excitement, and diversity, transporting viewers into a visually stunning journey that left them longing to experience it firsthand.

Through our commitment to quality, collaborative spirit, and ability to adapt to any style or method, we transformed VisitBritain’s 'See Things Differently' campaign into an immersive and mesmerising showcase of British travel and culture. Our journey across the UK was not merely about producing videos—it was about crafting an extraordinary visual narrative that would inspire travelers to embark on their own extraordinary adventures and discover the enchanting tapestry of Britain. As seasoned experts, we confidently guided our clients through the complexities of video production, providing a unique blend of creative expertise and strategic thinking, giving life to VisitBritain’s vision and driving exceptional results.
